Hi All,

I am planning to design an antenna amplifier for a receiver.I just wanted to get some good suggestions to go about in this..

Thanks all in advance.

Santom

Hello,

It is a Low Noise Amplifier (LNA)...
First get the operating frequency, Gain, Noise Figure then choose the device
such as from NEC or Fijitsu, AVAGO...
Then build matching & bising network & analyze using simulation tools such as AWR MWO & then build the layout...

Optimize the design if it is not meeting the specifications...

Hi manju,
I have a question regarding the findings of the values of the decoupling capacitors.I have my frequency as 100 MHz..
Should I just take Xc as 50 ohms and calculate..?

Should it be of same value at both the input and the output?

Thanks in advance
Santom

Can u also tell me under what circumstances we come to conclusion that we might not need the input matching network in an amplifier ciruit
