can anyone tell me how to convert my 4bit parallel data into serial??
 

do you need the code in matlab ?

Use 3 Mux and one Encoder.
 

i m not interested in matlab.

1st i encode my data and then use 2*1 mux???

do u know any alternate method like using Ic's??
 

this is for 8 bit infact.
can i use for 4 bit also??

Why not?
How are you connecting the device, with a micro controller?
 

i need the matlab code to convert my data into parallel stream in rows and columns not just one columns
