hyperterminal issue with mobile phone T610

Hi all,

I have posted the same thread in the Microcontroller section, but I realized that it is more suitable in this section, and that's why I reposted here...hoping someone can help me out.

I am trying to use hyperterminal to send AT command to my sony ericsson T610 phone. The settings are: 115200, 8, none, 1, none. The other baud rate gave me strange characters (unreadable characters). So, using the rate of 115200, my phone keeps on sending me weird reply. It just keeps on dumping characters onto the hyperterminal screen (never stop dumping)
I have tried perform the Master Reset, but it did not help.
I heard that many people have managed to send AT command to this phone via hyperterminal. Can anyone of you show me the steps to do so?
Do I need to install a driver for the phone serial cable?
The phone seems to be working fine, since when I did the Master Reset, I saw the Master Reset in the terminal screen. So, somehow the phone is working fine, I guess...
