Dear all

As we know there should be an acceptable matching load on non-excited ports in S parameters calculation for having accurate results. And it seems that this is achieved by setting resistor magnitude for discrete ports in CST and so there should be different amount of energy absorption by ports for different amounts of resistors in discrete ports. But I saw that this doesn't have any influence in the calculated S parameters and just set the reference value for which this parameters are obtained. So I wondered how these ports manage the matching condition in S parameter calculations because as we know with these types of ports we don't have any mode calculations.
Is there any convincing reason?!!

Thank you
