reduce sar metamaterial

do anybody know how should i calculated for the permittivity of the whole structure of metamaterial??

currently i am using the Zeland software - IE3D and Fidelity in designing the metameterial.
 

Hi there ,

First you need to do the simulation. Then by exporting the values of S11 and S21 and using a certain algorithm like NRW algorithm , you can recover the values of Mu and epsilon.

hi..

u mean the metamaterial nd to simulate? so i'll nd to define ports on the metamaterial?? coz currently my metamaterial is placed in front of a monopole phone antenna and i simulate them together. my purpose was to reduce the SAR value.

n wat is NRW algorithm??
