Dear all,

Could you suggest a possible solution to get phase result from transient simulated plot? I could not use PSS to do my system simulation. So, I could not use PSS to get the phase information.

Thanks

Hopefully you have access to the raw data. Assuming your data is the transient response to an impulse source, phase information is obtained by Fourier transforming this "impulse response."

-Tip

Theoretically it is possible by statistically processing the jitter you measure or simulate.
1. Make sure the signal is a sinewave (filter higher harmonics)
2. Make sure it is AC-coupled
3. Analyze the zero-crossing and convert the jitter statistics to phase noise.

Use this as a reference, but probably there's more and better info on the web

Merry Xmas!

Could it do the FFT and then take a phase function in the icfb calculator in order to get a phase value at the desired frequency?
