Hello

Does anyone know anything about thin plastic sheet that produce blue/white light? I believe it is powered by low DC voltage supply. What is it called?

Know where to get them?

MM

It could be a kind of EL (electroluminescent) film, usually driven by a signal smthg like 400Hz 80VAC. Basically its capacitive so draws little current.

yes at Lumachip.net

It called EL panel or EL backlighting display. Any color, any size, any shape is possible. For the power, the input power could be 1.5VDC, 3VDC, 6V DC, 12V DC, 24V DC, 48V DC, or 110-240V AC.

And it is cuttable, too. Any shape you could cut it.
