Designing Amplifier using BJTs

Hi;

Any references on designing amplifiers using BJTs.

I need a gain of approx 20dB.
 

An amplifier has a lot more specifications than just gain:
1) Frequency response
2) Input impedance
3) Output impedance
4) load impedance
6) Power output
7) Outpiut noise level
8) Output distortion amount
9) Idle current
etc
 

Sedra should be fine, but 20 db is nothing and you can easily do it
