Hi,
I want to design an acceleration measurement circuit that draws less than one microampere. I will use a capacitive piezo sensor and a FET buffer (Figure 40 in this document ) :
**broken link removed**
I'm looking for a FET to use as buffer that draws about 200 nA. Does a such FET exist ?
My second idea to make an ultra low power is to work in a duty cycle mode . But I want to filter (RC low pass filter) the accelerometer output around 5 Hz and sample with Fs= 20 Hz. The LPF settling time is 200 ms which is greater than the sampling period (50 ms) which make power cycling impossible. Any idea to use power cyclying in the case of LPF?
