Hi All,

I am working on serial protocols of Projectors, LCD, Plasma etc,

How does so many types of protocols exist ?

How serial protocols are designed?

What is the role of micro controller in the serial communication?

Where the protocols is stored, i.e How does comes to know that particulr string is a command?
