Using a cordless telephone as a wireless pc head set

Hello.

I was wondering if a cordless telephone can be used as a PC headset(headphone+speaker). What type of circuits would be needed at the base unit end?
 

I doubt that you would get a wide enough bandwidth for it to sound good.
