pic18f4620 soldering

Hello friends,

ANybody knows what the soldering temperature datasheet specs for PIC18F67J11, the specs does not specify the temperatures.

I am having troubles with this manual soldering even on industry grade PCB. got two pics exibihit diffrent damage on sodlering.

Any idea with the soldering temp specs?

You can refer to **broken link removed** as IPC/JEDEC J-STD-020C standard.

Depending on the soldering technique, manual soldering may be either rather gentle (pin-by-pin with an iron) or potential dangerous (using a small hot air tool, that's likely to overheat a device). Furthermore, the dry storage respectively necessary baking procedures for thin packages with limited floor lifetime have to be observed, also in prototyping. Otherwise package delamination may occur.
