Hi,
I'm using TMS320F2812 DSP. I use the spectrum digital's SDFlash utility to program this device. When I'm trying to erase the device, it displays the following warning:
WARNING: THE CONTENTS OF THE SECURITY PASSWORD LOCATIONS IN THE FLASH MAY NOT BE IN THE EXPECTED STATE. FOR FURTHER DEBUG PLEASE CHECK THE README FILE INCLUDED IN THE LATEST PROGRAMMING ALGORITHM RELEASE (JULY 2004 AND LATER) SPECIFIC TO YOUR DEVICE.
After going through the SDFlash documentation, I found that if the code security password locations (0x3F7FF8 - 0x3F7FFF) are programmed with 0x0000, then the device would be permanently locked.
Is there any way I can erase / program the device now? Or should I conclude that the device of no use anymore. Please help.
Thanks,
vhn
