Hi Guys
I simulated the circuit in razavi's "design of analog CMOS integrated Circuits" Chap 11.2, but the circuit never sucessful work in cadence, I am wondering if someone simulation Fig, 11.3 in that book,
does it work? the circuit looks simple, does it because I missed a start-up circuit?
Thanks a lot

Try to simulate an inverter to check your system setup.

I have designed something like that before and it should work.

Draw it, simulate it....done

If u are getting a very low Iout, u would need a start-up circuit for that design. It should be similar to something like Fig. 11.5
