Hi i am using and aware of xilinx fpgas.but now i would like to know basics of actel fpgas

1)Xilinx are RAM based ACTEL?
2)Xilinx we will gebertae bit stream by Xilix ISE ACTEL?
3)xilinx as spartan,Virtex etc ACTEL?
4)Xilinx as seperate floor planner,IP CORE generator,PAR,CHIP SCOPE ACTEL?

actel pdb file

I got the required info from actel website,but still any one could summarize it better...
 

actel pdb stp

hi,

1.Actel Fpga are basically flash based.

2. just like bit stream file in Xilinx ISE in Actel there are .pdb and .stp files which are generated through Libero Designer.

3. Actel fpga you can get knowledge form actel website.

4. Designer.

There are also some intresting anti-fuse (one time programmable) FPGAs availiable from Actel..

Actel libero uses simplicity software. It's really good.
