embedded systems +job +market

Hi,
I am doing my Masters in Electrical Engineering (from US). Right now I have 2 options, either to do major in networking or in embedded systems.
I want know that whats the job market of embedded systems in US. What field would be better for me if i wanna work in US?

I am an Embedded Systems Engineer. I think you should go with the Network Engineer career. More and more embedded systems work is being moved offshore, while network engineering is highly site-specific, so it is difficult to move that job offshore. In fact, a network engineer should be able to find a job just about anywhere in the world-- (just like a chef or an accountant, but more money and more fun).
