Problem with connecting USB with PIC18F4550

hi all ,
m designing an application using pic18f4550 . m making usb interface. M unable to connect the link between the controller and usb .i tried putting 220nF to 470nF capacitors on the Vusb pin .the problem is that when i touch the Vusb pin of the controller with my finger the communication starts otherwise there is no communiaction byitself. i tried all possible solution but unable to take out the noise..please help........

May be you have ground problem. Try to ground your voltage supply(-)

You don't need a separate GND, your problem lies somewhere else. Maybe decoupling caps are missing? MCLR pullup? Bad wiring?
