IS VLSI INDUSTRY IN INDIA GOING THROUGH TOUGH TIME?

I WAS FRESHER IN VLSI FIELD ,I NEVER FOUND OPENINGS ANY WHERE

I HEARD COMPANIES ARE FIRING LIKE ANYTHING?

CAN ANYBODY BIG TECHIE IN VLSI FIELD CAN PREDICT ITS FUTURE

is that true? i have friends working in india but they are not fired but some of my friends in germany were laid-off. they are all less than a year working in their respective companies when fired. it thought indian companies are stronger.

yes that true ... VLSI industry is going through a tough time these days ...

many big companies reduced their work force and some have shut down including big names like connexent and all.

start ups have suffered severely, and very few of them managed to survive.... !!

With the profit margin decline every yr and current market scenario profits have went down. Resulting firing of under performing employees... and with these experienced ppl taking all freshers job ... its the fresher in this field who a suffering to the max ....
