I am a very beginner in the field of VLSI and IC design

I want to know the difference between the following tools

IC-Station and IC-Flow from Mentor Graphics

SOC-encounter , First-Encounter,IC5033,IC160 from Cadence


aqll are used for IC Design

but what is the difference

please help

Please just go to the vendors' web sites and read the descriptions of the tools. That will give you all the basic info you need.
