I need to communicate with Bar code scanner using RS-232 interface of PLC Omron
I need help related to how to get data through RS-232 port in ASCII format
Please help me

I think u want to control ur Bar Code reader through PLC.

Well If this is a seen then I think that OMRON PLCs send data in ASCII Format u dont need to convert it.(I am not sure I think so)

Thanks actually i want to see data through PLC to computer for Data acquistion system ....i use bar code reader on RS232 port i just want to confirm which type of command i will have to use to fetch data from Serial port and how connect 12 bar code scanner with it
