how to connect two laptops

hello frens.....can anyone please guide me how to connect to laptops?.............and wat are the basic requirements to connect two laptops through LAN?

Use a crosslink-cable. Use fixed IP adresses for easy operation.

hi
simply u can connect two laptop with bluetooth
and if u r having WLAN then its best then bluetooth.
or if u need serial communication then use rs232 cable tp connect via serial port but its hardly available in new laptops so wlan is prefarable

use two laptops

connect them with an adhoc wifi network..assuming ur laptops are wifi enabled.
the range will be limited, but will be a reliable n/w.

how to connect two laptops using vista

wired or wireless?

you can used the bluetooth to connect the two or more laptops or you can used the LAN network (crossover) connection for wired connection..

Use cross over cable and use two IP address with in same subnetie
ie
Laptop 1 IP: 192.168.1.1 mask 255.255.255.0
Laptop 2 IP: 192.168.1.1 mask 255.255.255.0

You do not even need a crossover cable. Nowdays
some pc can change the connection.
