Hi there!

I got a query regarding the designing of the sytstem (consist of Power Supply, Servo Amplifier and Servo Motor) with the existing servo motor with 11A of continuos currentPlease advice whether my assumption is correct or not:

1) Continuous current of Servo Driver >= 11A of continuous current of Servo Motor

2i) Current of Power supply >= Continuous current of Servo DriverOR

2ii) Curremt of Power supply >= 11A of continuous current of Servo Motor.

I'm using:
11A at 80W for the motor, 10A at 500W for the amplifier, and 21A at 48V power supply. Can this work?

Please advice. Thank you.

Hi caedrean

What voltage do you aim to run the motor at? (what is it's full rating V, A, W) and does it run fast or slow - is it geared and can the load backdrive?
