:| hi guys...im a newbie here...can u guys suggest an idea for my FYP(final Year project)?..i interested doing project in RF/Microwave/Antenna...i have a basic knowledge on how to do a single patch antenna that can received and transmitted 2.45GHZ...

You can try with:
Ultrawideband Microwave Amplifiers, with low noise figure, medium or high power,
Active antennas,
Gunn diode oscillators,

what kind of measure equipment available do you have? I mean, VNA, spectrum analyzer...
