Methods for PCB fabrication without acid

Hi !!!
I want to know the techniques for doing PCB without acid.

I know that there are numerical controlled machines that do that, but I dont know their names.

Does exist another method ?

this is your missunderstandig that pcb can be made without acid ok?
CNC machines only do drilling or cutting of PCBs.
you can not atch the PCB without any chamical .Yes u can use "Faric Chloride" instead of any hamfull acid.
this chemical is used usually.

The machines used only for this purpose are expensive. I am using a desktop CNC mill ($2500) to do the job. It requires a bit of tweaking. More daring enthusiasts can rig-up their own routers for less than a thousand bucks. Its not that difficult. Search google for PCB router and you will find a design that can be made for under a thousand dollars.

Using the chemicals is the best thing because it saves a lot of time compared to the time taken by the PCB prototyping machine. Also the runing cost of the PCB prototyping machine is very high because the used tools cost is very high. For single side PCB i recommand to use chemicals for double side you will need some time to get a better quality PCB with the chemicals.

The PCB making can be acheive using prototype PCB making (milling machine).
It will cut the copper layer on the PCB forming traces,
instead of using chemical to remove the copper.

board fabrication lead time for 6 layers pcb

the LPKF machine are used mainly for driling and the type of its routing called isolated routing cause it etchs only few mm width needed to seperate/isolate tracks from each other and leaves most of the couper layer, unlike the chemical etching that removes the layer and leaves the tracks, best way to do it by silk screen.

chemicals are better, save time and suitable for mass production..
