antenna bluetooth 50 schematic

Hi,

Does anyone have any PDFs for designing an antenna trace for a bluetooth module? The module does not have an onboard antenna, so I will be needed a 50 ohm trace to a SMA connector.

Thanks

Hi difflvl,
I do not have a PDF but a little experience.
First you could use this: http://mcalc.sourceforge.net/#calc
With 42µ copper, 100µ distance between ground plane and microstrip and a width of 170µ you get near 50Ohm (my val 49.85).
Lambda/4; c/f: 31.228mm length should work fine for BT

can u just elobrate on why you have selected these parameters you have selected
Thanks in advance.
