Hello

As far as i understand there are two different types of modes
1) excitation mode of the feed
2) Modes of antenna depending upon the geometry of the radiator

I thin there must be some linkage between them with reference to the resonance. However, how can we perdict and analyze the next mode of the antenna and next frequency mode.

I hope i am wrong so i need your assistance:D

In my view, there is no relation between the modes of the feed and the radiator. Modes depend on their physical dimensions. If you use same feed to exicite different radiator, how can you define the relationship between them? It's not possible I guess.

I agree with you that modes of the radiator depends upon the geometry of the radiator. This mean a TEM mode for example will lead to different radiator mode depending upon the geometry?
Is there any paper giving the analysis of the modes of radiator
Thans
