Hi,
I am designing full transceiver lineup for a WIMAX...i need help in deciding the link budget (full specs) of the transmitter and receiver....

thanks

u need to get the standard , 1st and then begin ur link budget and the system analysis

khouly

i am working on IEEE 802.16e, but still confused on the specs of the lineup for a designing at 2.3GHz (WiBro) .... like how much will be NF, output power, blocker spec, LO phase margin, duplexer isolation......

thanks

you can find the standard link budget calculator in circuit_sage page

u need to get the BER curves and know the minimum SNR at the demodulator , and from the SNR , u can calculate the noise figure , of the system , by knowing the noise floor which depends on the channel BW

khouly
