Hello there,

Does someone know about any project on the net about thermostat with K-type thermocouple? I'm looking for PIC/Atmel related project, with LCD/LED, dealing up to 1000°C.

k-type digital thermostat

Thank you (Helped, ofc) but this is a thermoMETER, not thermostat I need! I need to regulate temp in the range 150-400°C.
Anyone else?

thermocouple thermostat

There are several chips from Dallas/Maxim that have an ADC with full scale 51.2 or 64mV. These can be used with thermocouples. Look under battery management or battery protection.

Unfortunately, these projects are dealing with NTC thermistors capable dealing with up to ~100°C and therefore, they does not meet my needs.

Of course, thank you for your efforts!

Author did the perfect compact job for me. Preprogrammed PIC 628 price is 10 euros, which is, I think, pretty resonable.
Page is in the serbian language, some projects are documented on english but you can contact the autor on english.
There are some free projects...
