Hi All,

I simulated single-ended and fully differential transconductor Gain/Bandwidth(BW)/Gain-bandwidth(GBW). I use the same ac amplitude (5mV), but ac magnitude=1 for single-ended simulation and ac magnitude=0.5 for both diff input. So both cases has the same gain.

For the single-ended type, GBW=Gm/C, and the simulation matches this calculation. For the differential type, C becomes 2C for each end while GBW is still Gm/C (based on Ken Martin’s book, chapter 15.1). However, the simulation only gives half of Gm/C as the GBW. This also happens in the simulation of BW.

Any comments will be appreciated.
