Delete a pad ?

Hi I need to delete a pad in one of my librarys I get error messages 'Cant delete pa/smd from a package that is in use' I have read the manual and cant find a solution Im sure it is simple ! Thanx in advance

Re: Delete a pad ?

Which Tool U Use To be Able To Help U?

Re: Delete a pad ?

You're talking about EAGLE. To modify a package that is used in a device you've to delete that package in all devices of the library that uses that package.
Then you can modify the package and reassign it to the devices. Of course all connections (package - symbol) have to be assigned newly.
I don't think that there's an easier way :-(
