cml buffer

hi all,
I've some doubt about current mode logic buffer, cause it uses voltage mode signaling and yet called as current mode buffer.
for those who want to know the basic of cml buffer plz have a look at this post

.

without cml buffer

The diff pair steers the current to either transistor depending on the voltage at their inputs. The current, which determines the output voltage swing, is set by a current source.

I think it would be wise not to have such namings which often get people confused.
