icthis.exe and icmntr.exe are the processes related to the adware... i had a similar problem before.... end process those two processes....
now open registry editor by typing regedit in cmd mode... after that press Ctrl+F so that find window opens... then search for icthis and delete all those registry entries which have that keyword or value... do the same for icmntr....
search and find the file location of icthis and icmntr... both would have the exe file and a dll with them... the exe file and dll cannot be deleted without deleting the registry entries....
get back to me after you do this... also printscreen the taskmanager after this....
delete the registry entries and then try end process.... because it enters values in the registry such that it cannot be ended.... so only i'm asking u to delete the registry entries....
Added after 4 minutes:
one important thing.... adware just wants to make u buy a particular antispam or antispy software.... it is done by programmers of that particular antispam or antispy software and they usually have connections with porn sites or illegal sites through sponsor and they send adware to our system whenever we access those sites....
adware isnt that dangerous.... it will just torture us into buying that particular antispam or antispy....
all that it needs a little click of a link to download and install the adware.... for me kaspersky didnt detect the virus... i'm using windows vista and windows defender in it pointed out a trojan process and then i used task manager find this particular adware you are talking about..... then i used the above steps to counteract the adware....
every antivirus has its own loopholes.... it is all just the difference in terms of coding... even there are performance difference in between antiviruses.... if you use a very complex antivirus then your system would be slow....
a mark ? become X and vice versa , and any click on it r or l it will open the virus protection .... .com a web side for anti sayware for free download .
