Hi Guys
I am thinking of buying a fpga + microcontroller board, to dvelope some robotics stuff. I need your opinion in selecting a board. first of all in order to develope robotics stuff do i need a fpga or microcontroller board. I want to control servo motors, sensors, RC interface initially and later add some image processing to it. What do you recomend. I came across xilinx virtex4 board Xilinx Virtex-4 FX12 Mini-Module which supports power PC also. This board cost 250$ and based board cost 195$.
Is this board sutiable for the application i mentioned. Do you thing it is worth buying this board.
Guys ur opinions would help me selecting the board.
