Hi all...

regarding logic level(+5V) signals, Its easy(for me) to divide a certain clock freq using the CD4017.... DIVIDE by 10, or 9 etc etc counter.. But I have NO idea how to MULTIPLY.. say x60..... sample: I input 1Hz and the output would be exactly 60Hz (1 x 60).....

just a small range..about 5Hz - 200Hz...

Anyone got ideas HOW? or maybe point me out to a link??

or how about a PIC code w/c multiplies its pulse input by 60??

looks like a peek at the CD4046 datasheet will help a bit.. :)

something like this...mims scrapbook... google..

Can you provide additional information, regarding your design and requirements? Is 60 hertz AC avaialble?

well in short, its a "multiply-by-60" prescaler.. input range of about 5-200Hz... I have the input side section "in the wraps".. just needed the logic to "multiply" the input frequency to be read by a digital frequency counter...

yes 60Hz is available in our country...
