Hi,
In delta sigma modulators the maximum SNDR is given by the famous equation of Shreier book;
But in most cases this is not valid and the measured or simulated SNDR is below this value. In Shreier book it's said that in an unstable DS modulator the SNDR is below this value, and the unstability causes the degradation in SNDR. Could you please explain that what is the criteria for stability and how we can recognize if a modulator is stable or unstable?
Thanks a lot.
