When I took a look at every assembly PCBs, every IC are all black?
Why?

Hi,
Per defaut the material used is black. If we will color the IC it will be an additional charge for the manufacturer and the product will be more expensive. In addition the Black color is the best color since it absorbs the heat generated inside the chip and evacuate it outside.
-> A double raison to let the ICs black.

Thank you for your answer.
But today I saw MLCC's color was brown, why not use black to radiate heat?

I would be happy if you press the helped me boutton.
Concerning your question I can say you that there are even White ICs and other colors.
Its like a persone who paint his house with a brown color. Only him can reply to the question: Why the brown colour ?
