how to perform the Monte Carlo simulation in Analog Design Environment?
or how to get the manual?
3x

Monte Carlo

In ADE, the tools manu has the monte carlo simulation option.
however, you should have the model for it.

Monte Carlo

could you explain more detailed ?
3x

Monte Carlo

first of all, you should have the model for monte carlo.
then you should replace the circuit with the monte carlo model.
and you can simulate the circuit with the monte carlo model.

Monte Carlo

How to get the monte carlo model? from fab? or pls give me one this model example, 3x!

Monte Carlo

Could u please explain me more detail?

Thnx

Re: Monte Carlo

from menu “Setup” choose “Model Libraries” change all the option fields so that instead of “tm” you have “mc” (for instance cmostm cmosmc)

You then choose monte carlo from the tools menu and set it up as you wish. Set the expression you want to plot in the calculator and click the 'get expression' button in the monte Carlo window, give it a name and click add. Choose 'run' from the simulation window to run the simulation.

edit: You must also have the simulation you want to run enabled in the analog environment as usual.

Monte Carlo

lot of people use ".modif" too, pls refer hpsice manual
