if a circuit is to amplify a sinusoid Vsinwt(in the steady state),then its slew rate must exceed Vw.
but I think the SR>A*V*w (A is the low frequency gain)?

slew rate

Hi
generally slew rate is important in close loop amplifiers.
so, if opamp is closed loop as a unity buffer, SR>V*W is true.
