Determination of reference plane in IE3D

Hi All,

I'm facing a problem in determining a reference plane in IE3D. I want to compare the result shown in Fig. 2 of the following paper (IEEE TRANSACTIONS ON ANTENNAS AND PROPAGATION, VOL. 51, NO. 10, pp. 2936-2946, OCTOBER 2003 by Prof. Samii). The method used in the paper is FDTD.

If I were you, I'd place the infinitesimal dipole at the origin as the paper indicated. Then, there should be no difficulty in calculating the energy-like integral over the reference plane as defined in the paper.
