multimedia card sample code

does any one has a running code for interfacing mmc , i am not able to get response R1 of 0x01 after sending command cmd0 (0x40) , i need to have the routine of spi_write...
 

Ahh I thought you were offering it. A question mark would make the thread a question.
You did not specify for what processor, language etc...
 

Is there some PIC Basic Pro or assembly software for connecting a PIC, directly or by an adapter chip, to a pen drive, to use it as a mass storage ?

No a USB pen drive needs a USB host like some high end 32bit PICs have.
SD cards are easier and Swordfish BASIC supports them.
