Hello,

I am doing a video processing project using an ASIC. I am taking in an 8 bit video signal input and clamping it to the black level. I wanted to add some more functionality to this project.

I would appreciate it if someone could suggest a few ideas for adding more functionality to this project.

Looking forward to your comments,

Thanks,
LJ

Do some thresholding, increse brightness, contrast, rotate the picture.

I think thresholding and picture inversion will require external memory. Is there something that can be done which does not require any external memory?
I was thinking of a VGA interface. However, it requires analog RGB inputs. Can I extract digital RGB inputs and send them to a DtoA converter?
