Hi guys, its great to be back on board. Ive been away for a while working, now I'm studying my HND and need your expert help..!

Question is this...

Determine the maximum deflection of the beam shown.
( see attached word doc.)

the annoying thing is I have forgotten this since 2yrs ago when i last did it, so your help is gretaly needed.

nope still stuck on this one.

am I supposed to work out EI? or take moments??
 

I have to work out the reactions, then use maclaurins notation to solve it.

that be why I am stuck!
