You need assembly source for which microcontroller?

If you are asking about HDL code to decode a rotary encoder, then you can check out the following links. They belong to Spartan 3E starter kit which has a rotary encoder installed.

wow thanks for the links.. i was designing a silly way to filter out my rotary encoder and i hope the method in the pdf works much better... i will see :)
