I need to add some lights in my son's room. So I need a simple easy to build stud finder circuit.
Thans in advance!!

The commercial ones are very complex with very large custom ICs. They work by capacitance. Your best bet might be to try the mechanical method. Tap on the wall and listen for the resonance. If you are patient, you could use a magnet to locate the nails which fasten the wall material to the studs.

stud finder circut

i never opened one up but i thought they were sonic.

Polaroid did such a good job of making their sonar range finder for their instant cameras that they offered prototype kits for cheap, and this was way back when cheap stuff was rare
