hi,

i used impact to create a parallel flash rom programming file .mcs. my question is when this file is download into parallel flash, is there any header or bits inserted during download process? in another word, lets assume the .mcs file is successfully programmed and can boot via BPI mode. if i manage to read out the parallel flash and compared with .mcs file, are they the same in binary format?

asking this because i am thinking to design sth to read .mcs file and write to parallel flash.

thanks.
