About S-parameter definition in Spectre

Question about the s-param definition of spectre.
In one of the cds application notes, it says: spectre normalizes the LNA scattering mattrix with respect to the source and load port resistance. Therefore, the source reflection coefficient Γ_s and Γ_l are both zero.
I dont understand this statement. can anyone here give me a explaination or,if possible, give me a brief derivation.
