A bit of a help to my problem would be precious.
I use a pulse generator, a signal generator a mixer and an antenna to tranmit a pulse that is 400ns long,
I then use a spectrum analyzer to get the channel frequency response and the channel impulse...
Okay I am gonna write a part of matlab code that I use in order to get the impulse response from the ifft.

I found a mistake that I made.
First of all, when I measured the received power I used a Frequency span of 600MHz and number of points(samples) equal to 1601(it is the maximum value on my VNA).
I think that is more sensible to use a frequency span of 100MHz and 1601 number of points.
Yeah you are right FvM the instrument provides output power up to 10dBm. My mistake.
Also, the measurements take place at an indoor lab with 4 walls, a ceiling and a floor so I think it should be ok.

The network analyzer that I use has the following options.
For port 1 has the option of A) Transmission and B) Reflection.
The same is true for port 2.
In order to get the S21 measurements I must set the port1 and port 2 to Transmission? or just port 2 to Transmission?
