Stupid question or trick question. Is there a rectifier in your meter? Does it have an AC range? If not, the answer is 5. If so, the answer is 11.1.

Agree with Andre. It looks like you’ve explicitly disabled JTAG.
  3. Closed: Re: Does my power converter have the correct voltages?

It's not totally clear; are you saying you've got a device to convert 220 VAC to 100VAC, i.e., a transformer? If so it should work, but not with much margin: your console needs 47W; your converter...

People have already told you where to connect the capacitors. Several times. They have also suggested values (although the values are not that important). My previous post also told you how to adjust...
  5. Closed: Re: how to design a thermostat without Microcontroller?

There's a 1K and 2.2M resistor on the comparator (R3, R4) THAT'S the hysteresis. But maybe increasing R3 would help (more hysteresis).

You might want to use a faster diode for D1, like a 1n4148....

Is this a real circuit or simulation? What do you mean “dc power supply to transistor can’t be reached above 6v”? Do you mean your 10V supply only puts out 6 volts?

[SOLVED]Closed: Re: What logic gate is this?

Well, what DO you know? Do you know how a transistor works? If not, perhaps you should learn about that first.

[SOLVED]Closed: Re: What logic gate is this?

It looks to me like it's a weird inverter. But it also looks like a circuit designed to destroy a transistor, because 5V reverse bias B-E is not good idea.

Why don't you try writing a truth table?...

There's nothing intrinsically wrong with doing this. It's not necessarily a good idea if you actually HAVE some constraints, i.e., minimum frequency, but it has nothing to do with signal visibility....

Closed: Re: I/O banks in an FPGA. Is it important for routing?

It depends on the device; the user’s manual should tell you if you can use the p and n ports individually. Barring that, the mapping tool will certainly tell you by throwing an error. But my guess is...

It shouldn’t matter as long as the voltages and IO standard are correct.

Timing constraints have nothing to do with the visibility of signals in simulation.

A Gerber viewer does not check anything other than dimensions. It won’t do signal integrity testing. A gerber viewer doesn’t know anything about speed or impedances.

The signals are getting optimized away. You need to use some attributes (look it up) like KEEP in order to preserve those signals. But unless you have a really good reason to do that, you may degrade...

If I understand this correctly, there should never be 4kV at the switch-essentially there's 4kV on the other side of an air-gap. But I did question this in post #2.

That's a pretty vague question. When the NPN turns on, it pulls the base of the PNP lower, turning it on. The collector of the PNP drives the voltage to the MOSFET gate.

    If you want more current...

The LT1339 also comes in an SMT package. You can always check with the manufacturer if you're concerned about end-of-life.

The LT1076 and LT1074 have different output structures.
