    An LC ckt should do it, say we charge a cap to 60V and run it through an L to give a 400A peak, the Zo = 0.15 ohms

    thus the L required = 0.0225 x C

    All the grid tied inverters I have designed would be off above 245Vac - there's really no point them being on - after all there is plenty of mains coming from somewhere else...

    a peak voltage sense of 365Vpk or so would be fast enough to shut off an inverter in a few uS. However, even 20mS of 300Vac will not damage the vast majority of mains connected devices ...

    Only the gate to source gives you a usable capacitance ( unless you have a J-fet ) if you use D-S the cap will be dominated by the channel resistance, depending on what you let the gate do ......

    you haven't - in the schematic, connected the the CT of the Tx to the zero volt of the output caps...! this will cause problems ...

    you need more copper on the sec side by the sound of it ...

    soft start cap needs to be bigger for a longer soft start - say 1uF and 470ohm current limit R in series

    how do you know that the phasing is correct for the transformer and all its outputs?
