  1. Closed: Best online resourses for Derby (United Kingdom) Job search

    hi,
I am an Embedded Software Developer trying for a placement around Derby Area in UK.
Can I get some some info about most effective methods for job search in that area. Also may be more info...
  2. Closed: Re: Sampling Rate and PID loop timing in a Tyrister based charger

Thanks for the valuable input. Let me first Sync the ADC reading Triggering Timer with Zero cross detection Pulse and then Read 32 samples 625uS apart. That gives a Feed back every cycle and we can...

I am trying to do a Phase control Battery charger. Plans to Do Phase control to maintain and apply voltage to battery with a monitor and limit for current.
PIC16 ADC monitors voltage and current....
  4. Closed: Re: SCR Phase control - Single pulse or Multiple Pulses?

Got it. Thanks. As you have suggested if I can use a MOC opto, then no pulse train needed, just Steady DC dc drive will be Ok.
  5. Closed: Re: SCR Phase control - Single pulse or Multiple Pulses?

Thanks for clarifying the key issues, exactly on my requirement. Now very clear about the problem.
Regarding the pulse train, what is the basis of On Time and Off Time? which parameter of SCR I...

    Thanks for the link.
I can work with Voltages of this level and initially I will be working with isolation transformers of 1:1 at 230V side.
btw I found some circuits with microchip using op-amps...

    Thanks for the response.
First of all, my aversion towards resistor mechanism was mainly derived from posts like this. I think I will get rid of that. mainly phase shift is not something I should...

    Closed: AC sinewave sampling circuit

I am trying to sample s sine wave for zero crossing detection as well as other measurements. But I would like to avoid the method of directly connection to AC mains using dropping resistor and then...
  10. Closed: Re: Power transient filter to PIC Micro Board

Thanks for pointing it out. The resistor solution is what Microchip documents are suggesting. In my case I can use both methods if needed. Because normally what I do is The Capacitor in the MCLR pin...
  11. Closed: Re: Power transient filter to PIC Micro Board

This seems a good solution to discharge the capacitor immediately.
    Thank you

Thank you very much for the detailed Replay.

I have seen such an arrangement in Microchip Notes but I was thinking that, it is needed only if we use high value caps in MCLR. If it is a standard...

    Hai,

Sorry if this is a subject already have discussion, (Good chance for that) but I was not able to find answer for my issue with search here.
For my Pic Micro circuits I usually Power...

    Thanks for the details.
On a final analysis there is not much prize difference between Microchip 2.4 GHz unit and this one . The range I need to check both once again.
This page has got some more...
  15. Closed: Re: Need advice on choosing RF module for sensor interfacing

The HC12 I have not used, but I have tested MRF24J40MA. Not serious testing but it has got its own correcting mechanism and all. Its own PCB antenna and inside building very low range only. Not sure...
  16. Closed: Re: Need advice on choosing RF module for sensor interfacing

Thanks for the info. Any way I think in the worst case I can even manage with a single channel. Few sensors only and I can poll them i round robin fashion. So channel availability is not an issue....
  17. Closed: Need advice on choosing RF module for sensor interfacing

I have to interface some proximity sensors and other sensors to my main Microcontroller CU unit. I am willing to place small MCU in each sensor location so that any type of sensor can be interfaced....

  21. Closed: Re: Optimum decoupling capacitors for Digital ICs

I have filter capacitors (1000uF) on the board. So that part may be ok.
And regarding the ULN2803, I got the point, the common pin is not a current flowing path. So no point in decoupling that Pin....
